Very interesting thanks.
Should be compulsory watching for some GPs and Rheumies - perhaps they would then realise it’s a lot more complicated than their initial thought, and that one size most definitely does not fit all.
Very interesting Fran and Candy, I will watch it again to check a few points. This research will really help in many ways to help educate doctors that PMR doesn't miraculously disappear in 18 mths to 2 years as their textbooks say. Also there are different sub-types and the fact that 'things were messy' indicates that every case is different. I also got my paper copy of the PMRGCAuk questionnaire through at the weekend so will fill that in and return - we need to know the facts from the front-line so we can fight for better treatment of these diseases. I've also just donated £20 - which is a key part of PMRGCA week, raising funds to help research and support. Two very good informative lectures, thank you again.
Thanks so much Fran!!!
I’d just like to thank you and Candy for setting up these two seminars. I found them reassuring and inspiring with a lot of hope for the future understanding of this illness and it’s treatment. Brilliant!
