Dear all,

We have been reflecting on how we run the PMRGCAuk HU forum in order that we can ensure that all of our members get the most out of the site, and that it continues to be a place where people with PMR and/or GCA get the support and information that they need in a safe and welcoming space. We have discussed this with the HU Admin and also looked into how other organisations run their forums, and have decided that all of our members need to enjoy the site without having to take on the responsibility of managing it.

You may have noticed that our Moderators have new badges by their names. They are now Ambassadors. This does not change our support for them nor how we value the work that we know that they do for the charity, but will allow them to enjoy more fully being members of the forum without the obligation to manage the site at the same time. They have worked tirelessly to ensure that the site remains a safe space for everyone and we would like to thank them for everything they have done and continue to do for the charity.

I am taking this opportunity to remind you all about our Guidelines for managing the site, and that rudeness, trolling, unrelated content and a disregard for our Guidelines will not be tolerated.

The forum will continue to be monitored by PMRGCAuk staff and trustees.
