I think 25 mg prednisone is my sweet spot. Sure beats 80, 60, 40 mg. I'm walking better, back is a little better, no headaches, no arm pain and no tongue pain, no chest pain. I've adjusted to eating pureed foods, and am kind of settled in with hubby for the winter. Accepting more days than not that my life probably won't ever be the same. However, I have surgery Monday for a little skin cancer and feel a little anxious tonight about that. Never spent a lot of time worrying about make up and hair. Never thought of myself as a vain person. Looking okay is good enough for me. But a hole in my forehead from mohs surgery is not something I'm thrilled about. So my dear friends and warriors, please put in a prayer, send white light, light a candle, raise a wine glass... whatever you feel would give a sister warrior a little extra boost would be appreciated.

Need a virtual hug
Big hugs x
One thing we're good at here, virtual hugs, there will be loads heading your way.
Surgery is always scary but try as best you can to relax, todays techniques are very clever and surgeons are very aware of the scars they will leave. You will still be you when it's all over.
Wishing you all the best. xx
All of the last things mentioned and many huge hugs.💐🙏🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
Big hug x
Wishing You All The Best For Your Surgery 🍀🙏🏼 & for a good outcome.
The MOHs Surgery will keep the scarring to a minimum & once it’s fully healed you can try Bio Oil to help reduce scarring, it is very good.
Best Wishes 🌷

All the best🌸
Hey Spanky:
Wishing you a successful outcome for your procedure.
Afterwards, consider bangs. Even wispy ones can distract from wrinkles and scars.
You have come a really long way and this is another blip. Let's us know how things go🌻
candle is lit, hug being sent , prayers being said.
You will be fine, and are so lucky that the cancer was caught in time to be dealt with. When I have something to face I say to myself, ‘by this time tomorrow it will be over’. I don’t why it helps me but it does. Tally ho! 🤗🤗🤗
Hi Spanky... Sending lots of hugs and a raised glass....
I had a skin cancer removed from my temple a couple of years ago... Done under local anesthesia... All done and off the bed in 15 minutes.. 8 stitches... Once wound healed, Bio Oil morning and night. Scar is virtually invisible.. . The surgeon was a brilliant "seamstress" ...
Good luck 🍀🍀🤗🤗🤗🤗
Prayers coming your way.
