Itchy rash improving

After trying to pin rash on everything from cutting willow to fabric conditioner, it is improving with Betvonate and anti histamines at night. I have given up porridge as you can be allergic to oats and I was eating lots to stop nausea from preds. Hope this helps anyone with similar problem.

Glad you have found a solution. You do have to be part patient part detective for these things! 👍

I love Oats ☹️. I am glad your symptoms have diminished though.

I'm convinced there is a link between inflammatory auto immune conditions and things like histamine intolerance, which I'm sure I've got, and it sounds a bit like you could have it too. How to solve it I don't know as Immunology are not interested in seeing me as they're not classic allergies, and the GP can only prescribe anithistamines and Cetraben. I know my symptoms get better when I'm on steroids but that doesn't really tell me anything, are the steroids dampening down the inflammation therefore damping down reactions? Or are the steroids acting as a mast cell stabliser? Who knows. if you haven't done so already, keep a diary of food and symptoms and see if you can see any links.
