Hi well it’s a week since in have been in hospital and they are looking at Sunday. 3 rd attempt get out

Today my steroids are again IV and starting 500 for 3 days 250 didn’t work. Still doing chemo and know the effects will be exactly the same as for cancer - hair etc. I am not resisting treatment as I feel so ill. They have explained the GCA inflammatory risks clearly. Walking bomb. I feel very GCA PMR all the time and it travels on tour round my body.

I have a lung issue and now on inhalers and nebuliser. With hacking cough. Pain all over. No energy swollen up. The care here is good and most of my

Team are caring and understand the condition. They are worried which is why I am still in. You don’t want to hear about my fellow inmates.

Feet swollen. Pain you name it. Stomach blood

Pressure and sats having a laugh. And pulse rate. Oh and sugars went to 18.5 so am on additional diabetic tablet and ranatine for awful constant indigestion pains in ears jaw and well everywhere

Sleepy from drugs - hope you well and yes to everywhere it hurts!! And my fellow guests are all psych patients deeply damaged and very fragile emotionally I am head girl the nurses trust me - my

Medics team come frquently smile and frown on cue but 2 or 3 of them are amazing in my view - all of them in big chief team and Relay to him

Thanks for listening - need to sleep again for a while X

I had to smile when you described yourself as “ head girl”. Your compassion in the midst of all this is admirable. I am glad you feel that you are in good hands, it certainly sounds like it.

You will come through this and hardly be able to believe it happened. We will be here now and in the aftermath. Sleep, sleep, sleep - nature’s great healer. Keep us updated when you feel like it. X🌷💐🌸

Oh deary me. I hope you have got a bit of rest. My fingers and toes crossed that things calm down and your pain decrease asap. Xox🌻🌻

It's awful to be the head girl not just because you are so good but the other inmates are that bad!

Been there , so I know exactly how you feel , if you weren't so sleepy and sick you would be calling a taxi and making a swift escape.

All we can do is let you know everyone is thinking about you here and hope you get some well deserved improvements soon after being the wards star pupil!

If you get bored you can always write posts for help and your Faraway Friends on the forum will hear your call and try and reply in a way to cheer you up.

Take care and please keep us updated xx

Thank goodness you are being well looked after and hopefully the sleepy haze continues as your body slowly starts sorting itself out. Thinking of you and sending thought waves - tricky time, can only get better. 🌺
