Oh no been here before. Down under 10mg And yes finding it mildly difficult to get up and down but not extreme. Might be the fact I need to do exercise to build up.
But my left knee is slightly painful and not easy to bend. Due for review of meds on 13th. Everything going ok apart from that. The fluoxetine has made an amazing difference to my depression and state of emotional health. Wondering f I should continue to reduce in meantime.
Also, saw post about buzzing tingling in legs and body. I get this at night lying down but it goes with a wave of feeling with the tingling and buzzing/ pins and needles moving over my body. Heart is involved as it feels like the way you feel on mild rollercoaster. Rolls over me in waves and I sometimes Catches my breath. No sleep for ages when this happens. Anybody else?

Some of the side effects of Prozac and many antidepressants are swinging feeling caused by palpitations , strange sleep and insomnia , many of them associated with the increase in heart rate.
This can also cause tingling and prickling in the legs , feet and hands , as a form of drug induced peripheral neuropathy .
Peripheral Neuropathy can also happen because of the decreased mobility that might have happened during your PMR , and other non PMR muscle , joint or nerve issues may now be showing themselves in your tingling and knee stiffness that higher doses of Pred may have masked.
You could choose to stay on your current dose for longer than the last dose you tapered from while you build up your nutrients and slowly build up your muscle strength and reduce other joint pain with toning exercises.
Giving yourself time to observe if your body and other pain issues recover with out tapering obscuring what is going on may help you to know if you need to take other pain killers , or need to have other things like your knee assessed for other issues by having some tests at the GP before tapering again too.
Getting control of any non PMR related pain before tapering again will make the next taper stages easier too. But , if you find that the pain doesn't improve and gets worse again in PMR like symptoms you may find you need to increase a little again , rebalance and build up exercise at that level then start down again at a better overall health level.
Just registered when I read Bee's reply: has this been going on long? And have you had ECGs done. preferably 24-hour ones? This is something that could happen with tachycardia/arrythmia. I have atrial fibrillation that the cardiologist is confident is associated with the vasculitis/underlying autoimmune disorder - really does need checking out if it hasn't already been done.
