All Good things...

We laughed, we cried, we ran through the house...

We cuddled, we kissed and looked deep into each others eyes...

We touched every rock, twig, shell, plant, book, candle, coaster, and CD in the flat...

We ate ice cream, smelled wine, and had pizza at the Marks & Spencer caf...

We pretty much did as we pleased... because Grandma said it was "okay"!

She even served "Caveman Style," on my last day!

Now... unfortunately... it must come to an end.

Back to Manchester, with Mum and Dad, where it all begins.

Until the next time Grandma... I love you so much.

There is nothing so special as you, me and us!

Love, Max

Wonderful photo, one definitely for the album. Great you had such a fantastic time. Lots of wonderful memories to see you through until the next time.

YES! It is already on his "private" Facebook page (with the appropriate commentary!) that Grandma keeps for him... I add comments/photos regularly, so that when I am dead and gone and he's older, he will see that we had lots of fun and made many memories, that will just need to be jogged into his consciousness!

you are so young.. you will not be dead and gone until he is quite old and will remember it all himself! But what a fun thing to do! .. How does one make a private Facebook page..that is really private?

in reply to yogabonnie

Hi yogabonnie, Yes... it is "PRIVATE." Only his parents, my husband and I, his other Grandparents, and his Uncles and Aunts have access... I opened it shortly after he was born; the first photos I posted were in the hospital, the day he was being born... i.e. Mommy with her big belly sitting on the hospital bed, him and Mummy being rolled out of theatre, etc.. From then on I post special moments (photos) that he and I have shared or photos Mom has hared with me. You go to "Settings" and you specifically name the only people who can have access to his Page. It is set up in his name, so I've given access info, to his Mum & Dad... I hope I am here, but in case something happens he will see at least several years of him and I having fun!

Great photo! I have B’day party for Jonah (4) and Juliette (2) at a gym in NYC! The theme is Superheros! I think grandmas fit in that category!

in reply to Sandy1947

YES! You should wear a SUPERHERO costume!!!!!

Sounds like Max had a great time with Grandma :)

Lots of new memories for you to keep until you build the next set together.

in reply to JulianJ

Yes indeed! My (rustic and already beat up) coffee table has some of our new "memories" etched into it, by the potato masher that Grandma stupidly gave him!

I don't know... I guess I assumed, one of the other 2 adults, who were here, would have had an eye on him, while Grandma was cooking that leg of lamb! NOT! hahahahahahaha

What a great photo and lovely idea of private Facebook page. Think I might steal that idea! So great that you had such a wonderful time Melissa!!

in reply to Jackoh

Thank you! ...and yes, I love posting "Max & Me," stuff on his page... I imagine him in his 20's or 30's and looking back at a chronological, pictorial history of "us."

I post videos out there too! Me talking to him and him babbling back at me!
