My best wishes to all of you for an Easter or Passover of peace. Hopefully, you are all doing well...and what you are told to protect yourselves and others. I think it is times like this when we must be without ...that we can truly appreciate the true values in life, what really!! matters.
Much love ....Marilyn

A version of it ( in white ) one of the main weeds here. Mum saw it on a garden and took a cutting, the rest is history. It's not so upright as the blue one, it creeps everywhere! I like "weeds" like that,
I'm not surprised to hear that...it was planted around the edges of a beautiful vegetable garden in this recreated historic village. I knew it...I knew it.....
Hello Marilyn - New Zealand is still under strict Alert 4 lockdown. Miss seeing my family here and overseas, though we keep in touch with video chats. The only exercise I get is playing swingball in the back yard and going for walks with my cat along our street. He's not very good at it, too many side attractions and our walks are 50 metres tops! I'm enjoying the experience of meeting neighbours walking their dogs, a quick chat from across the road and also seeing soft toys in the windows for the kids to discover in their teddy bear hunt.
My (Indian) neighbour is bored stiff. His wife is an essential worker at the hospital, so he is constantly digging or rearranging his backyard. And plenty of time for a chat. He keeps ducks and sells the eggs but in lockdown he can't do this, the eggs hatch and now the colony has grown to 50 ducks. His wife tells him off because they are expensive to feed. So we've made a deal that he can come over to my property and take as much grass as he wants (my lawnmower man is also in lockdown). It's become a funny world.
I am in love with your Prime minister Sondya. She is so warm and lovely and a proper leader. I am glad she exempted the Easter Bunny from isolation and deemed his work essential. You are so lucky!
Hi there, Sondya! I see you wrote this some hours ago, so there may be more than 50 ducks now. I loved seeing your photos. My Italian grandfather used to play a game called bocce that appears to be very similar to what was in your photos.
As SheffieldJane said, I too am in love with your Prime minister. In the states, we have been fighting for some sort of gun control for years...and I recall her strength...NO MORE when New Zeland experienced that mass shooting.
The Teddy Bear hunt for the children is lovely and must be so much fun for them to spot. I've only been out once since February except for an occasional walk and I must push myself to do that every day!!
I've been in a 'funk' and find the news so overwhelming. My only contribution is trying to try to brighten the days a bit of those I know who are alone and confined...and that always makes me smile a bit.
