TODAY HAS BEEN A HAPPY DAY. Wish I could put the good feeling in a bottle, and just have a whiff, every now and then.
The past 2/3 weeks have, as I told my GP, on Monday night, CRAP. Pain in groins, gallbladder area, backache. Everyone and everything getting on my b....y nerves, including me.Cleaner AWOL, friend back in hospital, sister emergency gallbladder op, dr says maybe IBS. Has reduced Lansoprazole from 30mg to 15 mg for 5 days and then stop. May put me on Ranitidine. I haven't a clue as to how long I have taken it, probably all 12 years of GCA?
Anyhow, I decided to escape. I took 4 buses and travelled 50 miles to another county, today. I am usually meticulous about times, but threw all caution to the wind, and took buses whenever/wherever. Marvellous! Different places, open fields, different people, lovely shops. On previous occasions, I had always met a friend, but wanted to test myself, before making that commitment. Foolish girl! I can't find my way out of a paper bag. Nothing was familiar, and, oh, the walking. As it was lunch-time, when I arrived, I looked for an eaterie. Up the dreaded escalator, down the terrifying lift. Sat and people- watched with my tasty snack lunch. Asked for directions to bus station, and actually got there.I got home at 5pm. Lawncutters had been. Looked lovely. Winter fuel payment letter.Oh happy day.
When I was diagnosed with Addison's Disease last year, I had no tiredness. I am not tired now. Did washing when home. Rest tomorrow? No chance, Dentist in the morning, hair afternoon. Friday, visit friend in hospital. Sat, visit 99 year-old.
SUCH A GOOD FEELING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH HAPPY DAY.
