Pelvic Pain syndrome has returned.

After spending the last year going to the most wonderful P.T. at the S.L. reg. Hosp. I was finally feeling wonderful for the first time in years. Then a few days ago I fell on the ice and landed on my left side and hip(pelvic) region. I feel like it has undone everything I worked for. Since it happened at work, it was a worker's comp. injury. I can't very tell people that now all of my anus, pelivic muscles are tightened up again. Now when I sit for too long the area just behind my left scrotum kills me. I'm so discouraged. A whole year of therapy by the best physical therapist on the planet has been wiped out. Do I start all over? People who don't have pelvic pain syndrome think you're a little nuts. It's also to embrassing to talk about.

I would start again. What type of Physio work were they doing on you, internal, external, particular muscles?

Happy New Year.

oh i am so heart broken....i am sure a really good mri is a start then back to the pt to get his/her opinion.........the body has a way of healing itself it just needs time...........i know it is hard to tell people what is wrong but we all have to be an advocate for the cause ............i tell every one what i have in detail so that they will be informed. when i am well i will try to bring all of this pn horror out into the open.............we need more dr going into the field and trying new things.....good luck get a plan and go get well!! if you got well once you can do it again.
