Hello I had an oophorectomy/ovariectomy in April 2024. I had 3 entry wounds in my stomach area. I was wondering if anyone has had the same procedure and what was your after experience? I still have pain all across my stomach 9 months later, still can not where tight waist fitting trousers to go out as they are really uncomfortable. My lower scare across my abdomen still feels like a burning stining cut. My scares look fine from the outside so My GP has just said that I should not be feeling anything now and just recommends pain relief. I feel it all day and there are things I can not do due to sensitivity. I still go to work 5 days a week as a housekeeper but did have 5 to 6 weeks rest after my operation so am very active and walk every where. I have had pain relive since then but it does not last for long. I sleep ok as long as I don't make sudden movements or my partner touches my belly kind of glad he works nights.
