after seeing a private consultant today, this is my new diagnosis, come off Duloxetine and try amatriptuline, meditation, cognitive therapy and a tens machine. Fingers crossed

Both drugs are Anti-depressants and do actually help to control pain.

I’m still on Duloxetine and have been taking 120 mg every night at bedtime.

I did use Amitriptyline for several years very successfully but my dose went up and up to finally taking 150 mg at night.

Yes it helped me greatly but on the higher dose I was a bit difficult to live with. I gave me too much confidence and my wife asked the doctor to change it.

Sad because I felt great.

Lower doses are fine.
