Burning rectum pain and around tailbone

It appears I have burning rectum pain butt cheeks and around the tailbone when lying down. But the pain seems to decreases considerably when sitting on toilet.

Can anyone please tell me what this is and what I do to treat this to resolve the pain

It sounds like pudendal neuralgia. You’ll need to see a neurologist and urologist. They can prescribe a nerve pain modulator. A pelvic PT may help.

Totally agree with konagirl, look into oudendal neuralgua.

neuralgia., for pain relief around the rectum, I have found B&O's work great for temporary relief. And I've had great success with radiofrequency ablation of the pudendal nerve.
