Anterior prolapse?

Hi everyone,

I am new to this group. Joined today after I started doing some research on Anterior Prolapse.

I visited the physiotherapist today and was told that my pelvic muscles were really tight. Towards the end of the session, she mentioned to me that my bladder is too low. She specifically said she can feel my bladder as soon as she inserts her finger in.

My pelvic therapist didn’t use the term Anterior Prolapse, but I wanted to ask if this is similar to what some of you have been told by their therapist?

Also, some of my symptoms include:

1. Pressure in my vagina that comes and goes

2. Tingling sensation in my vagina that comes and goes. If bladder is filled, sometimes tingling increases down there. Also, if I touch my clitoris for too long (not because I’m horny but because I’m trying to just see if there is anything else wrong with it), then my vagina starts to tingle, throb sometimes, and feels swollen and full?

3. Drastically decreased libido and therefore sex drive. I never feel horny anymore. Sex drive gradually decreased over 4 years and now it’s at an all time low.

4. My clitoris never feels aroused anymore. It feels like any other body part.

5. Sex is painful and not pleasurable at all. I can still become wet but still painful even with lube

6. I feel the urge to pee more often than usual. I also noticed that once I am done emptying my bladder, if I wait 10-15 seconds, I can push out a tiny bit more pee. Then I wait another 10-15 seconds and again, same thing. I swear I can sit on the toilet for hours doing this! (Although I’ve never tried past 10-15 mins? Maybe less)

I think I’ve mentioned most of the symptoms.

Thanks in advance to anyone reading this!

Sounds like a prolapsed bladder.Kegel exercises can improve it at this early stage.

Did you do reverse kegels too? And when you mean ‘use it 2 a day’ do you mean 2 sets of 10-20 reverse kegels?

Thank you ❤️ Goodluck on your surgery!

That's great that you have an appointment to fix this. I had this surgery 3 years ago. As soon as I got up from the hospital bed I knew my pain was gone. Walking several km every day again now. All good. Best wishes for your surgery.
