2018 Dec - Took a life threatening haemorrhage from the abdomen as I lost all my blood in the process, yet I'm still weak in my arms and legs, strength wise. Whenever I see a doctor I'm always asking them "should I still be this weak?" and they say "Yes." They don't even look surprised I'm still weak as they explain that my body has been through a huge ordeal as I was close to death as 2 teams saved my life.
Has anyone experienced this, because it would be nice to speak to someone who has been through it. As it would assure me that I will get my strength back in time.

I’m going to say absolutely yes. That kind of experience must be extremely difficult on the whole body plus mentally. Your body is still adjusting and that could take some people a few months others years. Maybe get some tests done for vitamin deference’s. I was extremely sick years back. The only thing that helped me get back on my feet were high dosage of vitamin C and b12 shots which help with energy production
nerve cell health
red blood cell formation. But please first speak with your GP first before taking anything. Hope start to Feel better very soon.
I’m sorry to hear of your experience. Firstly what did the surgery show? Did it turn out to be ovarian cancer or benign tumours as you haven’t mentioned what was found.
If you went on to have a cancer diagnosis and need chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy I would say that it’s quite likely your energy levels have been affected. But I would definitely mention it to your GP or specialist team. If nothing sinister was found and The tumours were in fact benign I would definitely make an appt to speak with your GP. Fatigue that is that draining does need to be investigated properly rather than simply being linked to blood transfusions. In absence of other long term conditions you should have recovered from the effects of your surgery and blood transfusions as that was 2 years ago. I hope this helps
