Cymbalta and Lyrica for possible PN

Has anyone tried Cymbalta and Lyrica for pudendal neuralgia? I recently have added Cymbalta at 60 mg a day to my Lyrica 600 mg a day. I just started taking Lyrica a few weeks ago and Cymbalta was added three weeks ago. Does anyone know how long it takes for these medicines to take full effect? Thank you all so very much and I hope everyone is doing better.

I was wondering how the Lyrica is working for you and why you are adding the cymbalta?I us d cyclobenzaprine and I have gabapentin if I want to add it...two people I spoke to have used cymbalta...one it has worked really well for and the other said it is helping...may I ask what kind of doctor diagnosed you and gave your prescription?

Hello there🙂 I wasn’t getting the relief I was hoping for with the Lyrica. I did a lot of research and found that adding an SNRI or a TCA to the Lyrica gave better pain relief. My Neurologist prescribed the Lyrica and I asked my Colon Rectal Surgeon to let me try adding Cymbalta. Don’t know if it takes a while, or what? I’m seeing a Pelvic Pain Specialist in Orlando next week.
