Follow ups?: One last question...I... - Pelvic Pain Suppo...
Follow ups?
I have a slight prolapse due to week pelvic floor I am told and when pressure from bowel occurs it is very painful. It also causes me to up during the night every two hours or so then when I try to pee cant immediately and very painful burn.
I have lost a stone in weight and that has definitely helped. Keeping a regular bowel movement also helps even taking senokot if necessary.
I also take D-Mannose to neutralize my body as acid foods are bad for urinary tract.
Sweetcures has the answers.
I have a first appointment soon with physiology department local hospital so will see what they say.
I try and do pelvic floor exercises when sitting and when not too sore walk.
Worry about having sex as can cause UTI. I've had a few of these and take nitrofuritin.
Can you see a woman's health pelvic floor specialist physio? Sounds like your pelvic floor muscles could be causing problems. It's apparently responsible for 90 percent or more of pelvic pain and bladder symptoms if it's too tight and too weak in some areas. Keggels can sometimes make worse in areas. With prolapse it's complicated but sounds like you need to see a good one.
