Here is the latest. My pain has dropped significantly. It does still get worse with stress so I try not to get stressed out. I can only give you advice based on how I’m feeling. I can sit for longer periods of time but still have to get up I’m afraid I’m causing damage when I’m sitting. Laying down I’m at a 6-7 on the pain scale which to me being a 10+ is way better. With sitting I still use the pillow between my legs but the burning pain has definitely decreased. I have no rectal burning any more. I’ll repeat that. My rectum that use to burn and hurt 24 hours a day 7 days a week is gone. I still have vagina pain and burning. I’m still going for my nerve blocks twice a month but they seem to work better now and so does my medication. So, if someone was to ask me do I think this shot is worth getting I would say yes but with the doctor I went to in Philadelphia. She knew her stuff big time. Hope that helps you guys. Stay strong there is a light at the end of the tunnel ok. Deb

Pleased to know your feeling significantly better Deb. But two nerve blocks a month seems a lot to me plus medication. But if your happy with that good luck to you,it is nice to hear of someone who is feeling better.
My pain Specialist has give up on me. He said he could do no more for me,well I don't suppose they can do miracles. I did say to him if nerve blocks are only temporary,I wasn't happy. I want something permanent.
My thoughts was if you have no pain for say a month, then when it comes back it's going to feel worse, because your body's got used to no pain.
When I put this to my Physiotherapist she agreed with me.
But I am pleased for you Deb if your happy,I know you've done a lot of suffering.😁🍀
Thank you. The nerve blocks have only anesthetic in them. No steroids and your right. The pain after the blocks wear off is horrendous because you have to get use to the pain again. The only reason I get 2 a Month is because there isn’t any steroids in them otherwise I wouldn’t get them. Have you considered trying the amniotic shots. Here was my theory with that procedure I kinda New it wouldn’t make my condition any worse so I was willing to give it a try. The first shot didn’t really work but this one did something. Thank God. So do me a huge favor. At least read up on it ok. But if you ever decide to get it done in the states I’ll tell you what doctor to see. I think it really sucks about your doctor. Yes they do that when they feel they can’t help you anymore. I’m so sorry. You were going for physical therapy right. How is that going. I am correct right. Please let me know. I know you also where seeing your GI doctor right. What is going on with all of that. How has that been going? PM me later. We’ll talk ok. Stay strong my friend. 🤗❤️ Deb.
I go to see her on the 18th. I will find out more than. Jenn. I’m not cured. Its just better than it was. I need everyone to understand that. I’m not 100% painfree. It is better though. Like today I had very bad pain in my coccyx bone again. But it’s definitely an improvement. I think she will probably want to do more bladder installation on me. Thank you so much. Deb.
I understand you are not cured honey, but you were in such a bad pain for so long so this is an improvement! It’s very positive news, maybe you need a few..
Deb, I am glad you are getting some relief. Anything is better than the 10+ you were having. I am happy for you and will have to consider this procedure. I will send you a private message.
