Hi there Mesh still has bad press and is now banned from using in Scotland due to being a cause of death in a pensioner ( on death certificate) The mesh can cut through organs if it moves internally and can extrude into vagina There are ongoing court cases as I speak

I strongly suggest that you don't have the mesh. After several years it breaks off and wraps around you're organs and can't be removed. My sister had the mesh and is now disabled. She has to use a catheter to urinate, the mesh is wrapped around her urethra and other organs and bones. She is in chronic pain, can't drive and can't walk properly. She also has nerve pain and nerve damage.

hi

how terrible for your sister...thank you or this information.Have been o see second opinion Doc and he has said that if I get pain bleeding or in continence I dont need the hysterectomy...an honest Doc at last so I do not have the symptoms...if anything gets worse...I will of course go again. An interesting aside he told me to go to the public hospital as they are more equipped for this problem.

I live in Spain.

regards.
