Small cyst causing pain?

I had a scan today and my doctor said I have a 1.5cm cyst on my ovary- tiny! But I have been in pain for a long time and had so much abnormal bleeding, could there be something else causing this pain unrelated to my reproductive organs?

Do you have endometriosis? Menstrual blood can flow backwards as well, ( it is called retrograde bleeding ) and thus can potentially start the process. Endometriosis can cause bad pain for some women.

Have you ever tried Ponstan for menstrual cramps? Prostaglandins are responsible in many cases for pain during menstuatuon.

I think you should see a gyneacologist.
