Anyone had experience of spinal decompression around Tarlov cysts to remove pelvic floor pain? Or even has anyone been told they have tarlov cysts?

Dr Long doesn't do surgery anymore but he does injections and will go over your MRI. There is a Dr in Texas who performs surgeries. Dr Long has been in practice for 40 years

I read of another person on the pain support site, who went to USA to have a a Tarlov cyst removed. ( not as I understand it done in the UK).

The work would be done on the spine,I have a number of cysts and it is not proposed to remove them

Hi, I have quite a lot of knowledge about Tarlov Cysts, I also suffer from pudendal neuralgia pain which has been going on for 11 years. I was once in contact with a Dr Feinenberg in the USA. Also saw a Dr Adrian Casey here in the UK. Decided against surgery for lots of reasons. Whatever surgery you have, try and keep away from the base of your spine. jx

Hi. I am Gabriella from Rome, Italy.

I have a 2 cm Tarlov Cyst in my sacrum and Dr Figenbaum wants to do surgery.

In Italy I cannot find surgeons that use his technique but only some kind of nerve decompression...

So I am confused... but I can't talke my chronic pelvic pain any more..

I would appreciate any kind of information you can advice me regarding this nerve and Tarlov surgeries.

Thanks Gabriella
