Hi Hun, I take pregabalin as I have a benign cystic spinal tumour and it affects my walking. I also get significant nerve pain. I’ve also had a hysterectomy too.
I’ve taken pregabalin on a number of occasions and it definitely works for me even if it doesn’t take all the pain away completely, at times. I haven’t noticed any side effects but that could be because I’ve got used to it.
I definitely think it’s worth trying it if your doctor is recommending it.
Take care Hun, hope your pain eases, stay warm and gentle hugs to you xx
Make sure you start at the lowest dose and go up slowly. I had to increase by opening capsules and splitting them in half to go up by halves to tolerate the side effects. It mainly made me dizzy but everyone is different.
