I was diagnosed with having fibroids earlier this year and I was just wondering if they could cause weight gain, up until recently I was successfully loosing weight but over the last couple of months I haven’t lost anything considerably I just keep floating back and forth...

Hi Jodie34. I have gained weight since my fibroid. I found my fibroid in July and since then I have gained a fair few pounds. Hospital have told me because my fibroid is 15cm, I’ll notice the scales increase as it’s such a big and heavy fibroid, so the answer is definitely yes, and even more so depending on the size of your fibroid
