Hi.. yes.. I have a DRG stimulator. I had it done in November. I am feeling better yet not perfect. I have a severe nerve injury at S1 level from another surgery so I don't think I will be ever perfect. I would go for a trial and see
Had a DRG spinal stimulater fitted in December. Then permanent battery implant in January. Pleased to say it has given me about 50% reduction in pain. The battery implant is in the front right side opposite the site of pain. I still have sore pain around the battery implant but is getting better and seems to be comfortable.
I also suffered for 5 years of broken glass pain from a damaged genitofemoral nerve. At least now I can do a bit more. Hopefully when the battery implant has settled down maybe even more!!
Hope you have the same success if you have it done.
At first I was hoping to have the nerve resectioned until the surgeon said it could make me worse!!!
Hope this helps.
Yes I had the DRG trial. Can you see the reply I just left. I am new to this site. Did you have the DRG trial an d implant?
