Botox and bladder stretching for OAB

Hi there, has anyone ever tried Botox or bladder stretching for overactive bladder, my consultant suggested it yesterday if yet another medication doesn't work.

my 10 year old son had botox but not bladder stretching for OB. Unfortunately it didn't work for him but i have heard of it really helping people which is why we agreed to it.

Because of his age he had it under a general but he recovered well and only had minimal pain afterwards for a couple of days. Hope this helps

oh and don't expect results straight away we were told it can take up to 6 weeks for full effects to be seen.

Hi iv been having botox for OAB for several years. I tried lots of meds & they didn't work. Not had bladder stretched. For me the botox wears off after about 6 months. It really has helped me. I have GA and home same day. Off work for couple of days.
