Hi .. first i want to ask if its normal to have vaginal discharge everyday?They said its just the way the vagina cleans itself on the inside?i always wondered if its normal .. its been happening after i had sex with my ex boyfriend once,4 years ago.

It is perfectly natural to have daily vaginal discharge. However if it is concerning you since you have linked it with a ex boyfriend you can always go for tests at your local sexual health clinic. Your vagina does self clean and I would avoid washing with perfumed/scented products, water only will suffice. Discharge should not have a bad smell or if you have itching it could be thrush. Either way get your self checked to put your mind at rest
