Today my pain is. . .

Picking up on what teadrinker(? apologies if it was someone else) said in an earlier post - how do we feel about describing our pain as if it were a drawing?

Can we keep coming back to this - I'm interested to see if it varies over time and how this relates back to feelings towards the pain? (I'm not a professional, just interested). be as creative as you like, without swearwords, please.

Today my pain is like a giant pink elephant ballet dancing on my pelvis, which only I can see and when I try to describe it, everyone thinks I am just insane. But it is very, very real.

Or I am just loopy??

Today my pain is like a hot poker in my buttock

Today my pain is like walking around with a large baking potato in my bottom and my body feels like it has been trampled on by boots in the night. I also feel like I am wearing a heavy wetsuit on my legs - nice. This week is half term and I don't know quite how I will get through it!

Oooh, emmax, pain and children, not a good combination. I hope you get some good days so they can go out in the garden.

Today my pain is like it is everyday, like someone tied up my abdomen with a rope and keeps pulling tighter and tighter and stabbing me at the same time!!!

Today my pain is like butterflies dancing on my sacrum (not really more like elephants, but I am allowed to dream about the impossible).
