supply issues Urso

I live in Glasgow and I am having difficulty getting my prescription filled for Cholurso 250mg all local pharmacy’s saying supply issue anyone else experiencing this ?

No issues in Canada. The only time I’ve experienced supply issues was during Covid - I could only get a month at a time (vs 3 month supply).

I had trouble last month with getting the generic I was always given, in fact that script is still owing I live in southern England. I went round pharmacies myself to see if they had any, only place was boots.

The pharmacy was so rude as well so I went back to GP, changed my pharmacy to Boots and got a new script and was given Ursofalk it just means a car journey now though. But it solved of my argument with them about giving me Ursofalk it’s all Boots dispense. Hope you get some soon.

hi, storm15. I live in Glasgow (uk) and use Cholurso 500mg x2 Daily. I have had no problems with my monthly supplied at all. Hope this changes for you. Maybe try a different pharmacy

My pharmacy dispenses various generic brands of Ursodexoycholic Acid. Perhaps you could try a different brand. Ursofalk according to Professor Jones is the ursodeoxycholic acid of his preference.

thanks for replies I have managed to get supply lets hope this is a short term supply issue wouldn’t want to go thru that worry again
