Take all Urso dose at once?

Prof Jones book arrived today - although my 1st impulse was to sit down and read from cover to cover real life restricted me to a quick flick through.

He writes that it’s better to take all daily Urso dose at night. Advice on mine is twice a day with or after food.

Any thoughts?

some doctors do suggest taking it at night to help avoid any GI problems like nausea. Others take it all at once. I think the important thing is to be sure you are taking the right dose and get it all in during each day. If you are one to forget to take it, then maybe take it all at once. You have to find what works for you. Never hesitate to talk to your own doctor about this is it is presenting a problem for you.

When I was first prescribed URSO it was suggested that the dose be taken twice a day, I think this helps the body get used to the new medication. I now take all mine in the evening with dinner this helps me digest the URSO without it repeating on me.

I take levathyroxine first thing, then 4 x 250 Urso with breakfast. I take statin and Vitamin D at bedtime. It works ok for me like this. Good luck

I was to take it 3 times a day. Constantly forgot at least once a day. I now take all 3 right before bed with no worries. I did ask the doc and, just like Prof Jones, she said whatever works for me is fine.bits the dosage, not the timing

I have been taking Urso for about a year now. I take one dose with my breakfast and one with my dinner. So far that has worked great for me.
