hi

In was diagnosed pbc /aih this year with grade 4 cirrhosis. I haven’t been offered a fibroscan is it something I should be requesting.

You probably just had a liver biopsy, otherwise, they couldn't have diagnosed the level of cirrhosis. Biopsy usually is done once, at the time of initial diagnosis. Since you just a biopsy, you don't need a fibroscan. Your doctor may want you to do the fibroscan once or twice a year, thereafter. In the US is more popular the shear wave elastography ultrasound than fibroscan. All the best to you!

aaah thanks , yea I had a biopsy in January. Have normal ultrasound scans every six months .
