Hi Helen,

I had a fibroscan last year and my score was 27.4. All that happened was they said they would repeat the scan in a years time. Still waiting for a scan. Try not to worry easier said than done I know

That makes me feel better. I did mention transplant to nurse and she said”that’s a long way off” but I have been worried. Thanks so much for taking time to respond.

kimphoebe...that makes me feel little better about my 10. Dr also said not concerned but I’ve worried myself sick. I just received notification from Resoundant. January 2019, MRE Plus wil be available. 👍😊

You and I seem to have same. Do you work? How do you feel generally? I mostly ignore that I have anything wrong until I go for check ups.

I had my last Fibroscan last week (I'm at around 12) and asked for more information. Obviously they're concerned with the development over time - so next year's Fibroscan should show whether it has remained stable or has increased. Generally, nothing much happens afterwards. I do the Fibroscan and a blood test and will then see my doctor.

I was 19.4 and they did an ultrasound a week later and said my liver was still working as it should, i think it's a case of carry on as normal and just keep taking the pills, my last fibroscan was 2 years ago so they dont seem worried

Dear HelenTM, fibroscore between 2.5 to 7 is conidered normal, but more than 7 is unsusual and require medical attention. average fibroscore is only 5.3, which meaqns no fibrosis or least minimal. since 16.8 is higher, you must change the diet and engage is excercise more. as liver is magical organ, which can repair itself, there is chance you can bring back the liver to good health. please browse the google for the fruits and foods that lower your calorie in take and also curb the inflmation in liver cells. strictly follow. its amatter of concenr, but thanks to god, with proper medication and life style change you can come back. but consult hapatlogist.
