Hi everyone Just wanted to know if any one had any side affects from Ocalivia have been taking 5mg each day itching unbearable have always been ok with itch until taking this drug also take Urso 1000mg per day Carveidol 12.5mg per day have small Varices and Hypertension wondering if i should be taking Ocalivia its frightening the new warning on the leaflet any one had any Varices bleeding if you are taking Ocalivia one of the frightening side affects any info a great help Take Care xx

Yes I took it a few months ago and also had terrible itching. My silicon hairbrush became my new best friend! So I stopped. My consultant then put me on to Bezafibrate which causes zero itching and has vastly improved my bloods. I can’t take Urso so this is my only hope atm.

I started on one Octilva a year ago no side effects at all, Once you take you will start to feel a lot better and liver enzymes are stable and going back to normal levels.
