I've taken Urso tablets for 10 years now. I just received the Medicare Part D formulary for 2022 and Urso tablets are no longer covered. However Urso capsules are covered. Does anyone take the capsules?

Hi Susn. I take the capsules as this was what the liver specialist prescribed when I started on Urso last November. I have found them easy to swallow. However, I'm in Australia so I'm not sure if you would be getting the same size capsule or exactly the same ones as I'm getting. But certainly I'm having no problems with them.
I'm in the UK and always have the capsules for the last 17yrs
I’am in the UK and have always taken the capsules.
Susan, I've been taking the 4 300 mg capsules daily since 2012. They work well for me. The price has been all over the place - cheap at first, then really expensive for several years, even with insurance. I changed my Medicare Part D plan for 2021 and the price is so much lower. So thankful for that!
I have only ever been prescribed capsules but it has been a variety of manufactures and colours.
Hi, Susan! I also take the pills and am quite interested that the new formulary includes this med in ANY form. Humana had not covered it in my plan. If it’s in the upcoming formulary, I will certainly be checking further, and I appreciate the info.
Thanks!
Don
I have taken the pills since my diagnosis in March 2020, I do not have insurance. I use Good RX and it helps me find the cheapest pharmacy near me. I usually pay about $100 every 3 months. Thank you for letting me know there are capsules, I will be checking into the price of them. Thanks, Anni
Hi could you tell me what brand and where you get your prescription filled? I get my Urso filled at CVS and I pay 111 dollars a month. I take 600 milligrams a day and take the capsule form.
