Blessings on you, Purdt2017! There are many of us, and we are on your side in this. Many times we think there’s no way we can get past the next minute/hour/day—-whatever—-but yet we do! And you will get past this.Just persevere for a little bit longer. One day at a time. And keep posting.

Hi Purdy2017, sorry to read you have been turned down for PIP, I have read many times over different forums that people have tried again and been granted PIP. I am sure you will not be feeling like a battle but I wonder if a telephone call to the PBC Foundation could help you. I am sure they will have had previous experience in helping others in this situation.
bst wishes
Hi, Im sorry to hear you're in a good place right now. I wasn't aware that people with this dreadful condition could claim PIP, however you must try again. I have a few friends who have applied for PIP for different conditions and most were turned down on their first attempt but they tried again and were successful. So don't give up. Hugs and best wishes x
Hi thankyou yes you can claim for fatigue yes I was told the same thing I am going to appeal it just makes you fill that your pretending gets you down but I'm ok x
Hi Purdy2017, my last reply to you should have read "I'm sorry to hear your not in a good place"! I was diagnosed 12 years ago with AIH and earlier this year was told my biopsy had been rechecked and I did in fact have PBC. For years I have complained about fatigue but it seemed this was pushed aside as it wasn't a symptom of AIH.
I don't work but have always looked after my granddaughters until recently because I found I just kept falling asleep, so it was no longer safe for them.
Because of your post I am going to try and claim PIP. Thank you for your information
Don’t worry about your sickness work interview, I went through the whole process, I had 8 months off , I ended up going to see occupational health therapist, he recommended I go part-time and lots recommendations. Also our health condition is a part of the equal opportunities act and is counted as disability. With the medication you will feel better in time, I have found vitamin D and a vitamin supplements help , with vitamin B zinc , pantothenic acid which helps with tiredness and fatigue.I hope you begin to feel better soon
Hi thankyou for your reply I've already made my mind up it's time to give up I'm just fealing to tired no energy I've had pbc for 4 years over the last year I've got alot worse I'm a support worker and the shifts are no good and even if I wanted to go part time I couldn't afford it but thankyou
