Magnesium really helps I take a combo of magnesium zinc and vit d just before bed - stops the leg twitch and aids sleep
Hi Nellies47,I have had for a long while. Over the last month I’ve cut down a lot on unhealthy sugars and fats and exercised more to try and lower my cholesterol levels (I know it’s common in PBC but am still afraid of Statins). Now you ask the question I realise my legs have totally stopped being restless at night. It’s helping sleep more than I realised. The whole period I had restless legs it was chronic. Now I actually don’t. So wether it was diet change and more walking I can’t tell but there’s is a noticeable change for me. Might not be the same for anyone else though. We are all so very different anyway.
Hi.
Thank you. It was alot worse last yr when I got sick 1st( jan 2020).
I saw neurologist and was prescribed parkinson meds, but they made more fatigued. Now its keeps me awake most nights and effects me from the hips down.
I really should change my diet , I have gained weight in the last yr so I will cut dowb carbs and sugar.
I already exercise a bit .
Thanks again.
I take an extra Gabapentin at night and it stopped it.
Hi thank you. I was on gabapentin yrs ago for facial migraine. However I found it caused tiredness then...its hard to get a balance. Hope you are well.

Hi Nelly, I suffer with restless legs also, I had a liver transplant in 2015 and since then I have had this problem, I have to get up quite early each morning as the pain is unbearable. I can't do anything even though I have mentioned it to my GP, and there is nothing he can recommend. Ian
