Good morning everyone hope you are all as well as you can be.

I don't know about you, but I am finding it exceptionally difficult to lose weight on budesonide. I look as if I'm 8 months pregnant and its affecting my confidence and my life. I refuse to go anywhere because last week out in town with my partner to do some shopping someone said out loud good god look at the age of those two ....wonder how far along she is, but at that age its disgusting...

I responded with, oh I'm 6 months and its twins...and keep your ignorant snide remarks to yourself . I walked off and my poor fella didn't know how to react.

I was so hurt by what these people said and unless weight starts coming off soon, I will have no choice but to stop the budesonide. I have dropped them down to 3mg to try and lose a little bit of weight...my bloods are within range 6 weeks in on 50 mg mercaptopurin and 3 budesonide so I'm ok with that. I am just so fed up with what is happening to my body and my face because of these meds.

My partner remarked the other day on how well my moustache is coming along so I got it waxed off but the wax pulled some skin away too...thin skin thanks again to steroids and this has never happened before.

I have increased or rather darker facial hair which again is a result of the steroids...when are they going to find a treatment that does not cause such undignified side effects.

Back to the belly....I am on slimming world and 100 percent on plan. 5 months and no weight loss...exercise...dog, allottment, walk everywhere.....just no idea why it's not working.
