Does anyone besides myself have a cysttic lesion on their pancreas?
I had ct scans ultrasounds and mri’s two . I’m being told I have 2 cystic lessons on my pancreas. It didn’t show on my ultrasound or ct scan but on the MRI. I also have right upper pile renal cortical scarring. This is new too.
Is the azathioprine causing this or what

Hi, I also have/had several cysts on my pancreas... After getting an acute case of pancreatitis.. Caused by an attempted bile stent procedure...
I think the pancreatitis caused the cysts in my case... I still get a lot of pain around that area... Do you??
They were thinking of removing them but they were in too awkward a position... I take creon before food to help digest it... But suffer terrible if I have much fat...
I too have a cyst. Dr informed me and said they'll watch it when they do the tests on my liver every 6 mths. I don't understand why they're acting like they're not worried. Does it cause or can it cause pain? I have pain but my PCP said it sounds like all signs of the gallbladder but since the pain stopped says I possibly passed stones
yes jennyhadenough I have pancreatic cysts and splenic cysts or "lesions." The hepstologist PBC specialists are "watching" them. Fun huh?
I wish there was a script of optimal diet, excercise and lifestyle to prevent lesions from becoming cancerous and PBC progressing to transplant but there isn't. We only have each other so far. What have you read that will keep you healthy?
I have a fluid filled cyst on my pancreas, found during MRE of my liver back in 8/18. Now, I’m being sent to the interventional pancreatic doctor at UCLA by the GI doc who I was referred to by the hepatologist. So, this means I’m on my 3rd doc!
I have PBC, Stage 2-3 fibrosis as of last year, staged during MRE. I’ve never had a biopsy.
I had ultrasound and contrast Ct scan of abdomen and they said pancreas was fine. Had MRI last week Radiolgy report says nonspecific 8mm T2 signal in the region of body/head junction could represent IPMN. I went for MRI of back. What was your size was it for sure you had something? What was your symptoms and I do take 50 AZA. Now on 25 mg. What has your doctors say?
