I had my routine 3 month blood work done a few weeks ago.My ALT & AST are finally normal. My ALK is at 147.Lowest it has been since my diagnosis 2 years ago.My platelet count came back 535.(Normal is 138-453.)Waiting on orders to retest bllodo work plus a blood smear.Specialist at Cleveland Clinic has said :Most of the time, bumps in the platelet count are just manifestations of other issues - they track w anemia, inflammation or lab error.I have also have Endometriosis.Has anybody had a high platelet count before? Thanks!

I’ve had elevated platelets level after infections. My platelets are always in the high normal range and I use turmeric on my salads and soups to help thin my blood. The doctor was not concerned and my platelets went down in normal range after the infections were resolved.

All the best to you!
