Texas PBC conference and support groups

Hello everybody,

Sorry I took so long to get back to you who have been so kind and encouraging. The conference in Texas was so helpful to me. 2 plus very full days of lectures, information, encouragement and fun. It was so worth the trip. My biopsy did come back positive for PBC. and I have started URSO, three capsules of 300 mg each, three times a day with meals. So far so good...

Spending time with hundreds of men and women with this condition made me feel that I am not alone and I will survive.

I think it’s important to link up with a support group. There is one in Mount Sinai hospital Manhattan, but I live in Rockland County New York. and traveling at night is not easy for me. Is there anyone out there in Rockland County New York or northern NJ who knows about a local support group or would be interested in starting one?
