Large Bruises

Does anyone else bruise super easy? I have large bruises all over me. I may bump my leg ( not even enough for it to hurt), yet I will end up with a large bruise 3 inches in diameter.

Yes I can bruise through clothes. Sometimes I have no idea when I banged anything but the bruise is there.

Me too, do bruises too easily. On of those times just from the doctor examining my knee. And at least three times at least got not just bruised but also infected just about halfway between my knee and foot both legs different times of course! We are funny people the touch for us is a story 🤔

Yes I do...Hubby is always asking me what did you do now plus I have pale skin.

Yes, we can blame the bruising on our damaged livers. Our clotting ability is affected by the PBC.

I've been an easy bruiser my whole life, but in the past three or four years since my diagnosis, I just wake up with them, or see them the next day. I get them in weird spots, like on my hands, fingers, inner arms. I just put it down to the PBC. It makes me nervous sometimes that my liver is worse, but since I've had it for years, I doubt that is the problem. Its just part of our struggling livers.

I’m fair & thin skin. I get the little bruises & have for years. I don’t relate it to my PBC.

Mine are usually on my left arm if my purse is too heavy & the strap getsme😀

So far, haven’t had that happen. Have you been able to ask your dr?

No. It’s pretty common with liver disease.

Yes for years and as a result of seeing GP was tested and that’s when I was diagnosed with PBC. I once knocked my shin with my ankle and from My knee down to my toes was bruised!! Never wear skirts in summer!!
