Aches and pains

Ok PBC ers, one of the main problems that have cropped up in the last few posts are muscle and bone aches and pains lots of ideas as to what could be the cause other than PBC, similar symptoms crop up in Hyperparathyroidism, this is a problem if calcium levels raise too high,we take vitamin D supplements against steroid damage which in turn raises the calcium. Also too much lactic acid in the blood acts to make the aches worse. It's just a mine field once we get bloods looked into its a battle

It is a mine field and it is only in this last year that I have a good hepatologist.

As it is a battle we must keep fighting
