Selenium methionine capsules smell like vitamin b complex .is that normal?

Hi . I bought pure encapsulations selenmethionin tablets . They smell veey strongly. Like a vitamin b tablet smell . I ask because my stool has turned yellow and lately grey beige .And I wonder if down to the selenium .And if the capsules have been mixed up in the factory .

Just a thought

I take folate from Pure Encapsulations. I'd call them. See what they say. Better safe than sorry. I also take selenium but by Now Co. Never have had a gray beige color urine though. But yours is a combo supplement too.

Still, I'd give them a ring....

Thank you so much for that .yes I will ring .it was stool not urine by the way and since stopping it seemed to have 90% normal coloured stool .so yes need to ring them

Hi just to let you know I rang pure encapsulations but only in America so hung up after few minutes waiting in a queue .I emailed instead and they didn't really have much to say . The side effect was not known to them .good news is I stopped them anyway and the pale stool that I was passing immediately after eating with urgency .it has stopped .I still have tan coloured stool most of the time . But think that may be due to no dairy , no sugar new diet .Thank you for your help and all good wishes to you

I buy some of their supplements. They should at least take them back and refund your money.

Ooo yes that would be nice .But that is like accepting liability I guess .But perhaps not as cosmetic companies give you money back sometimes if a product doesn't suit etc .cost me a lot as you know .

Didn't buy direct from them as they are in America. So I may approach the company I bought them from instead if I can find receipt .

Out here (U. S.) if something is questionable with a purchase, especially with supplements, they have you return the item and they either give you your money back or send you another.

Hi tanjah thanx for reply . I have stopped them and stool gone back to near enough normal colour .so that's a relief. The smell is normal though apparently .Thank you
