Pinching burning feeling

Hello friends. I hope that you are all well. I sure miss Brummi.

My question is if anyone is getting a sharp pinching stab feeling in your skin.

Hi Jenny,

Is this pain/stinging in one general area or all over? Every once in a while I get a sharp stinging like pain in my upper back on the left side. Because I have RA, I equate it to this inflammation I have. I take meds for it so it's not constant like it used to be.

I am starting to have a burning sensation on the bottom of my feet and wrists. It's weird and sometimes that can feel like stinging too.

It's strange you should mention that but I also get stinging sensations in my wrists, well the area between wrists and thumb - I have put it down to carpel tunnel even though I had my right hand done some years ago, now I am wondering if perhaps it does have something to do with PBC - will ask consultant when I see him next month

I should have been more explicit. That's exactly what I meant. The area between my thumb and wrist. I was diagnosed with DeQuervains syndrome (tendinitis) this past July. Most of the time it's painful but I also get this stinging, burning sensation in that area too. It's so weird.

Hi there.That sounds like peripheral neuropathy.This can happen if you are low in Vitamin B12.It can also b a symptom of autoimmune immune diseases.I would have a chat with your Rheumatologist or Dr at your next visit.🌸

Not sure if your talking to me Stella, but, my labs showed my B12 in good shape. My rheumatologist said it was DeQuervains tendinitis. Is that an AI?

Yes I get that but seems to be worst when I'm cold. That's very sad news bout brummi only just seen the posts very sad. Xx

I haven't seen any posts about Brummi either Kltel - I just had a quick look around the site but couldn't find any posts about him. Very sad if he has passed away.

Hello DianneS,

Another member messaged me. He did pass away. Very sad. I'm not sure if it was PBC related but it sounds more like something else that was going on.
