Thank you everyone that commented on my post re biopsy , went for pre assessment today spoke to the nurse about my concerns as to why I need it and have cancelled the procedure for now , then spoke with the secretary in clinic who listened to my concerns and has booked me an appointment for the end of the month with a different consultant for a second opinion and who can hopefully explain if and why I need it . Head office of pbc support group were also very helpful when I rang them this morning ( sorry I can't remember your name 🙄) as was Wendy from the Nottingham support branch who had a lovely chat with me this evening. So once again thank you everyone for your support and for letting me use you as a sounding board x

Hope the MRCP went well. Glad you are getting a second opinion, I am on 4th and final from March to June that al happened. If it does not feel like they now ask for a liver specialist unit referral. xxx
