Unsure why this happens

completely-zero654 profile image

Hello I am new to this side of things and do not know if this is right site even. Please can anyone help?

Not been to GP yet but does this happen to anyone please? You go to bed, sleep get up to use the toilet, fall asleep (without knowing about it) next thing you have fallen and do not remember anything about it? This has happened about 6 times over the last 4 months. Last but 1 fall happened twice in half an hour. Last fall was early hours this morning off the kitchen chair but no rememberance of it apart from a very sore head. Always hit my head when I fall. I am married and am 55 years old, I do have other medical problems but they are more or less under control (I think).

Can anyone help me please? Thank you and am sorry if I have the wrong site.

Hi

This is the PBC site, don't know if that's one of your other problems but it doesn't matter. I would suggest you see your gp as soon as possible. Sooner or later you could really hurt yourself when you fall. Do you know what your blood pressure is generally? If it's low that could cause it, especially when standing up. Do you remember feeling dizzy before you fall? Could be many things causing it, even meds you're taking. First thing in the morning make that gp appointment, and good luck with getting it sorted.

Thank you for your help emerich.

Far as I know BP is fine, no dizziness before hand. Have been taking my med for nearly 14 years and no bad effects, it is really odd.

Will make appointment with GP to see what he says.

I apologise once again for interrupting the flow on this site and thank you for your all xx

No need for apologies . Hopefully your gp will find out what's going on.

Best wishes. x

Do you have heart problem? I know someone with heart problem had a couple of fall.

Hello Janelng,

Not that I know of, one thing I do know though my forehead hurts where I caught it on the worktop in our kitchen. It is really very sore, expect it is an internal bruise.

I did not expect anyone to reply to me as thought I had wrong site?

Would like to thank you for asking me.....xxxxxxxx
