Yes. It's concerning me. My doctor told my husband that it's because of the high dose prednisone. I disagree because I was tired before I was diagnosed. I was afraid to make morning plans because I didn't know if I was going to be tired or awake.
These last few days for me have been awful. Hope you are ok. Im not on the steriod so its definantly not the answer x
My feet itch badly too.
And I gained weight
But there are people with much worse than me.
I am going to hammer my Dr for something to stay awake.
Yes me too.
My bedroom slippers was really old and I have animals/cats and so I decided to toss the old slippers being that sometimes I walk in the house without shoes on then put my foot in the slippers. Got new ones. So far no itchy feet.
Hi janine541
I am retired so can drop off as I need to but yesterday I slept for two hours in the afternoon, a real deep sleep.
Some people itch more, others suffer from fatigue, and some suffer from both. That is due to PBC
Chronic fatigue syndrome is an issue that comes along with PBC. I was diagnosed in 2005 and in a way was relieved to find out because it explained the major fatigue, severe itching and a few other things. I have literally felt so full of energy one second to almost collapsing the next. Eating healthy or healthier, getting undisturbed rest and trying to stay somewhat active does help; you just have to stick with it.
For the last few weeks I've been feeling more tired than usual. I struggle to stay awake and keep nodding off while watching TV. Most days I have to give in and end up going to sleep. I can go into a deep sleep from 2-3 hours but it doesn't make me feel any better afterwards.
My tiredness is a nightmare. I could sleep all day. I find myself planning my times i can sleep.
If i sit down i fall asleep. I try to sit in the kitchen and keep the heating off but nothing seems to be working. I go to work and come home and thats it.
Have a busy house hold. My 2 sons live at home still and tend to have friends round. I advise them and my husband to fend for them selves.
