Does anyone get a tingling sensation in the feet
Hi Chocolate11
Nice to see you great photo. The tingling in my feet was to do with vitamin B12 deficiency, after being tested I was told I have pernicious anaemia, when my face dropped the GP just said well you ARE blond blue eyed and over 60!
Maybe worth getting checked over especially if you are a vegetarian or vegan.
best wishes
Just noticed that you work in a care home so thinking you are on your feet a lot, are your shoes up to the job?
Hi Chocolate. I was diagnosed with PBC last July through a random blood test looking at something else. In October I developed tingling and burning pins and needles in both feet and soon noticed it up both lower legs. I consulted Dr Google who told me I probably had MS, and then went to my GP who called it peripheral neuropathy and gave me Vitamin B12 injections to trial, with little effect. She then sent me to a rheumatologist who did lots of tests to rule things out and decided I have fibromyalgia, based on the tingling and the many muscular aches and pains that I've had for years and just lived with. In addition, I have coeliac disease, which can cause peripheral neuropathy, and Dr Google told me that menopause can also cause it. So, it seems there are lots of causes of tingling in feet and it's safest to go to your GP if it doesn't improvw rather than trying to work it out for yourself. It's easy to think these odd things are PBC related but they may well not be. All the best with your search for answers.
