I am going on a cruise in 3 weeks and I am insured with Staysure. I used them last year too. Don't use the Internet to get insurance other than to get their number. Talk to them instead. I got a really good price and that includes my husband who is over 70. But remember everyone's circumstances are different. Good luck and enjoy your cruise. I can't wait for mine

I use stay sure too, I prefer to speak to them on the phone too, I still have to mention my cancer as I am in remission but still get checked, as well as my cirrhosis, I have several problems and they accept me every year, I am 64 and my husband is 69. He has had a hip replacement and Tia, we are happy with Staysure, remember to phone rather than do it on line, good luck, xx

Hi try medical travel compared, I'm only going Cyprus and got insurance from puffin for £38.51 I've declared Pbc but comes up as cirosis. I've got 10m cover with £100 excess (silver option) seems ok what I've read.

There is a separate option for cruise cover.

Good luck

Sorry spell checker changes everything.

Hello cazer.

Try looking on Liver North website. They put up-to-date info on insurers who are willing to insure.

Hi I use world first. Always good and when I did have to use it one you were excellent.

Hi, Do you mean you had to claim from them?

I liked them a lot when I used them 3 years ago. The person I talked to was really helpful and patient, and seemed to know a lot about PBC - even if it was only because this company had an up-to -date database compared to the others I'd tried up until then. There was something I didn't like - but decided it was so minor I'd not worry ... think it was: not being covered for a plane diversion if I was ill on flight. But for all I know, all companies have that in now.

As Mcinnel has said above, World First. Also, in the past, folk on here have suggested Columbus.

Make sure you read everything in the policy before you commit. I'm sure a lot of them rely on people not reading 70+ page policies. Remember, no matter how nice, their bottom line is always profit.
