Biopsy results

Does anyone in the uk know how long I will have to wait for my biopsy results? I had it done today. Thankyou

Hi Bellalou10. I suspect it's different in different hospitals. My appointment with my consultant had already been scheduled for a month after the biopsy so I got the results then. But I was told that it would take between a week and 10 days. Did they not tell you? How did you get on?

Hi lisac22 I too have an appointment for January already booked so I guess it will be then. The biopsy was awful if I'm honest, glad it was over very quickly as couldn't stand much more of that pain, especially as they didn't offer any sedative😳Just bruised today but ok otherwise, not something I will be repeating so let's hope they have got a sufficient liver sample X

it was 6 weeks before i got mine im stage 4 but im in yorkshire and everything is slower here lol hope you are ok its not a nice procedure is it xxx
