Hi. diagnosed with PBC some years ago. Recent routine scan showed swollen lymph nodes around pancreas. Obviously worst thoughts entered my head and doc talked about risk of cancer. Has anyone else had this? Hoping just infection

Swollen lymph nodes
Hi I also have raised lymph nodes around pancreas.in fact it was how they diagnosed Pbc.at first I thought I wasn't long for the world as everything I googled showed pancreatic cancer.however that was almost two years ago.i have yearly scans now(just had mri)and everything is ok.reading uk Pbc site and apparently fairly common.other than that I'm pretty symptom free.ask for a ct/MRI scan and don't worry.my radiologist said that it's common.best wishes to you I really know what you're going through.please don't worry
Yes I actually had them biopsied when I was under the care of my previous physician. When I went to the physician that I now go to (who specializes in pbc) she told me that this is common in pbc patients and really didn't need biopsy. Pays to go to docs who specialize in exactly what you have . Good Luck
